Esports organization Team SoloMid has posted an update regarding its status in securing an Overwatch roster.

The update was published in response to articles posted on PVPLive reporting that that TSM was forming an alliance with Counter Logic Gaming, and that the organization was looking to sign Team Kungarna. In reply, TSM has announced that it is not in negotiations with Kungarna, and it not looking into purchasing an Overwatch League slot with CLG.

The statement reads:

“All of our interactions with Team Kungarna have been exploratory and had not progressed past initial roster introductions. We would like to restate that we do plan on participating in Overwatch in the future but as of present time, we are still waiting and scouting for the right team.”

CLG recently announced its signing of Overwatch team The 1 Percent. They join several other established esports organizations who have started making moves into the competitive Overwatch scene, including Faze, Cloud 9, FNATIC, Team EnvyUs, Team Liquid, and Complexity.
