With Red Canids’ loss to Dire Wolves, Turkish representative SuperMassive eSports have qualified for the next stage of the 2017 Mid-Season Invitational.

Throughout the group stage, SuperMassive were a cut above their minor region brethren, showing a superior understanding of vision and macro play than the other teams in their group.

SuperMassive also represented the minor regions at last year’s MSI main event after qualifying from the 2016 International Wildcard Invitational.

The Group B winner will be decided tomorrow after another round of best-of-one matches. Currently, Southeast Asia representative Marines Esports leads the group with a 3-0 record. The winners will be randomly selected to face North American representative Team SoloMid or LMS representative Flash Wolves.

*In the first version of this article, it was incorrectly stated that the Group A winner would go on to face Team SoloMid and the Group B winner would face Flash Wolves. This has been corrected.
