U.S. men's national soccer team Concacaf World Cup qualifier vs. Jamaica: TV and streaming info, USMNT roster

The U.S. men's national soccer team continues its quest to reach the 2022 World Cup in Qatar on Thursday when it takes on Jamaica in Austin, Texas.

This is the first of three Concacaf World Cup qualifiers over seven days; the USMNT then plays Panama in Panama City on Sunday (6 p.m. ET on Paramount+) and Costa Rica in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday (7 p.m. ET on ESPN2).

After the three qualifiers in September, Mexico (2-0-1) leads the eight-nation "octagonal" with seven points. Canada, the U.S. and Panama have identical 1-0-2 records (five points) and hold down the other three vital positions in the standings (the top three automatically qualify, and the fourth-place finisher advances to an inter-confederation playoff). With an 0-1-2 record, Jamaica currently sits in the eighth and final place in the standings.

Unfortunately for the USMNT, two of its top players – Christian Pulisic and Gio Reyna – will miss this round of qualifiers due to injuries.

Weston Mckennie returns for the USMNT after missing the last two World Cup qualifiers due to breaking team COVID-19 protocols.
