EU LCS team Origen announced via Twitter on March 13 that jungler Kim “Wisdom” Taewan is no longer a member of the organization. This follows the addition of jungler Jakub “Cinkrof” Rokicki to the main Origen roster last week.

Origen made the semifinal of the World Championship in 2015, but have since undergone several roster changes and had subsequently worse results in the EU LCS. Their pre-2017 Spring roster announcement was widely met with incredulity, and Origen have since failed to win a single best-of-three. This recent week, Origen won their first two single games against Team ROCCAT and Giants Gaming, but only after they transitioned Team Owner and previous mid laner, Enrique “xPeke” Cedeño Martínez, to the support role.

ESPN reported a dispute between Origen and jungler Cinkrof’s former team, ThunderX3 Baskonia, in the Spanish Liga de Videojuegos Profesional. The dispute nearly resulted in a suspension of Cinkrof from LVP, pending Riot investigation. According to ESPN’s sources, Cinkrof was “not comfortable playing with Origen” despite the LCS team paying his buyout. The dispute may have delayed Cinkrof’s joining Origen by a week.

With the final addition of Cinkrof, however, previous jungler Wisdom will no longer be part of Origen. Cinkrof will begin playing for Origen in their opening match against Team Vitality this week.
