Esports organization Ad Finem has announced it is parting ways with its entire Dota 2 roster. The following players have left the team:

  • Omar “Madara” Dabasas

  • Dimitris “ThuG” Plivouris

  • Kharis “SkyLark” Zafeiriou

  • Verros “Maybe Next Time” Apostolos

  • Giorgos “SsaSpartan” Giannakopoulos

According to Ad Finem’s announcement on Facebook, the parting was a mutual decision from both sides. The organization has stated that it will “not stop working in esports” and will have more announcements in the future. Ad Finem still retains players in Hearthstone, including George “Likeabawse” Papadimitrakopoulos.

Maybe Next Time tweeted that the players had chosen not to renew their contracts with the organization and confirmed that the five of them would continue to play together as a team, although no formal name was mentioned. Ad Finem was one of the eight teams invited to the Kiev Major but it remains to be seen what will happen to the spot following the roster’s departure.

Yahoo Esports has reached out to Ad Finem for comment, and will report back if we hear more.
