FaceIt has announced a multi-year partnership with YouTube to stream its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Esports Championship Series, starting on March 25 with the ECS Promotion matches.

The league will be streamed exclusively on YouTube from ECS channel. The announcement confirmed there will be “advanced future integrations” coming to the YouTube and FaceIt platforms.

As part of the deal YouTube will also be working with ECS league player to “provide guidance to maximize engagement on their YouTube channels and build their audiences.” Not many more details were revealed beyond that.

“YouTube offers fans of the ECS an unmatched online viewing experience,” said FaceIt chief business officer and co-founder Michele Attisani, “YouTube is by far the most watched platform for gamers in the world and continues to innovate and lead on video technology, making it a great place for us to call our new home for the Esports Championship Series”.

FaceIt was previously streaming on Twitch, supplemented with regular videos uploaded to YouTube. It isn’t the only CS:GO league to make the switch to YouTube, as the English broadcasts of EPL Seasons 5 and 6 will also be streamed exclusively on YouTube.

FaceIt announced the ECS Season 3 qualifiers and start dates last month. The organization has also revealed the teams invited to compete in this season’s development league, including North, Gambit, Misfits, and Renegades.
