Meet the Hearthstone Global Games teams

The 48 Hearthstone Global Games teams have been selected. Voted in by fans, four players from each of the competing countries will be playing for regional pride and $15,000 each.

Many teams have big names on them, but a few stand out from the rest. Notably, the Russian team features defending Hearthstone World Champion Pavel “Pavel” Beltukov and recently crowned Hearthstone Winter Champion Aleksey “ShtanUdachi” Barsukov. Talk about stacked.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainians bring their own heat with World Championship runner-up Artem “DrHippi” Kravets is making the trip, as well as tournament stalwarts Aleksandr “Kolento” Malsh and Eugene “Neirea” Shumilin.

Finally, there’s South Korea, led by Kang “handsomeguy” Il-mook and Baek “Kranich” Hak-jun, both with Hearthstone World Championship appearances under their belt.

The Global Games kick off on April 10, so make sure to stay right here on the Yahoo Esports Hearthstone hub for more. To look through all the teams, head over to the Hearthstone Global Games page.
